The Zimbabwe Side

The classic view

Around three-quarters of Victoria Falls is visible from the Zimbabwean side, making it the essential destination for that iconic, postcard-perfect panorama. Wander the broad rainforest trails as the spray drifts overhead, pause at viewpoint after viewpoint along the length of the Main Falls, and take in the sheer scale of one of the world's greatest waterfalls in full, thundering glory.

The Zambia Side & Livingstone

For a wilder, more immersive experience, cross to the Zambian side and the town of Livingstone. Here you can get astonishingly close to the rushing water - cross the spray-soaked Knife-Edge Bridge, descend the Boiling Pot Trail into the gorge, and, in the low-water season, boat out to Livingstone Island to peer over the very brink of the falls from the legendary Devil's Pool.
